second time in two years, American Mardy Fish will play
in the final at the $708,000 Pilot Pen Tennis event, a
final U.S. Open tune-up.

Mardy's Tennis and Jake's Music Fest Mardy Fish and Jake Owen are excited to announce that the third annual and expanded Mardy’s Tennis & Jake’s Music Fest to benefit the Mardy Fish Foundation will be held in Vero Beach on December 12 and 13, 2008. The Boulevard Village & Tennis Club continues its support of the event as the Host Sponsor and is home to the Tennis Exhibition and Dinner Party. Jake Owen will once again perform live at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center. The event’s premiere Pro-Am Golf Tournament will tee off at the Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club. “When Jake isn’t playing music and when I am not smacking a tennis ball, the most likely place you will find us is on a golf course,” said Mardy Fish. “Vero Beach has really embraced the event and its natural we try to expand on its success with the addition of a pro-am golf tournament. We hope golfers will join us for a round on a great course.” |

tournament semifinals after defeating fellow American
Jesse Levine 6-3 7-6 (4) in the quarterfinals Thursday
afternoon on Stadium Court.

adopted fan favorite rolled through his second
straight set victory in as may days, defeating
Frenchman Marc Gicquel 6-4, 6-3 Wednesday night on
the Stadium Court at the Connecticut Tennis Center.
