Our KOC programs are open to all kids in Indian River County. We have some programs that are school specific (After School Tennis and Middle School Club Tennis), but those are available at nine of our 13 elementary schools and all four of our Middle Schools . For our other programs (USTA Match Play, USTA Youth Tennis, Friday Night Fish and Summer Camps) we welcome kids ages 4-14 of all skill level. If you have a high school student that is interested in volunteering and helping on court with any of these programs, they are welcome as well.
Costs of our programs vary and scholarships are available for all programs (please see How do I quality for a scholarship?). Below is the break down.
All of our KOC tennis programs are taught by USPTA certified tennis pro’s, with additional help from assistant pro’s and USPTA certified coaches.
Each KOC program, with the exception of USTA Youth Tennis, is open to players of all skill levels. Kids are broken up based on skill level and able to play with other kids of equal playing ability. We practice and implement USTA 10 and Under components using foam, red, orange and green dot balls for all programs (with the exception of USTA Youth Tennis and Middle School Club Tennis) both of those two program use yellow balls. Please contact Kristen Wilson, Kristen@mffkids.org with any questions on the appropriate skill level for your child.
