Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation Offers Free Kid’s Day Clinic on January 10, 2014
Vero Beach, FL - The Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation will be offering a free “Kids Tennis Clinic” on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Vero Beach Tennis & Fitness Center. Admission is free, but registration is required. Online registration is at www.mffkids.org
The event is open to Indian River County children ages 4- 14, of all tennis skill levels.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Vero Beach International Tennis Open, a USTA pro circuit event highlighting the top ranked women players from #100 - #300. The Vero Beach Tennis & fitness Club is located at 702 Timber Ridge Trail SW in Vero Beach, Florida (off of Oslo Road.)
Mardy Fish is a top-ranked U.S. tennis professional dedicated to supporting the youth in his hometown of Vero Beach, FL. Started in 2007, the non-profit Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation currently supports children in 13 elementary schools and four middle schools in Indian River County, FL by providing after-school exercise, nutritional and enrichment programs in a safe environment to prepare them for healthy, productive and successful lives. The Foundation introduced the “Six Healthy Habits” in 2012 which are Get Sleep; Drink Water; Daily Exercise; Eat Healthy; Brush and Floss; Friendship.”
